Jamie Lee Curtis and Mike Meyers do a Halloween Themed Gender Reveal Video for Chris Hardwick and Lydia HearstChris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst, who’s having a girl, opened up their Halloween-themed sex reveal with friends and family with a virtual cameo from Halloween stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Myers.Hardwick and Hearst wanted a sweet and intimate celebration for Lydia’s birthday but they missed getting together with friends so they figured that they could have an “Unbirthday Party” next month during the spooky season where they set up a screen outdoors with some cushy seats to watch the new Halloween film.Initially, the gender reveal was going to be announced right before the film but when all was said and done the reveal ended up being the highlight of the party."All in all, it was an incredible night: catching up with friends we love — some of whom we hadn't seen in person in two years — sharing the news of our daughter in a way we'll always cherish, eating cake, and watching Halloween Kills under a beautifully crisp, starry-filled October sky,” says Hardwick.#Halloween #GenderReveal #JamieLeeCurtis #ChrisHardwick #LydiaHearstImage Credit: People.com
The Perfect Playlist for Your Halloween PartyYou have the guest list and the party snacks ready- what music will you play for the Halloween party? Well, there's "Thriller," and "Monster Mash," and... that's about it. Or maybe that's all you can think of, but there are plenty of great songs that will set the right ambience. You just haven't thought about them because either they weren't marketed specifically for Halloween, or else they weren't played to death on the radio. The A.V. Club collected 15 songs about ghosts, witches, vampires, serial killers, and zombies that total an hour of continuous music. The oldest one among them came out in 1980. Each gives us a description and a music video, and they are also listed in a Spotify playlist.   #Halloween #songs #music
Squid Game Costumes Forbidden by the Fayetteville-Manlius School District in New YorkSquid Game has been one of the trending topics on the Internet recently. It seems that everyone is talking about the said Netflix series, including kids, to the dismay of some elementary school principals. When they found out some kids played a version of the squid game in school at recess, the principals at Mott Road, Enders Road, and Fayetteville Elementary schools were alarmed. They sent emails to parents that urged them to talk to their kids about the show. For the principals, it is inappropriate to discuss Squid Game at school because of its violent nature. The schools also banned wearing a Squid Game costume on Halloween. That sounds reasonable.(Image Credit: Chetraruc/ Pixabay)#SquidGame #Halloween #Kids
The 100-Year-Old Haunted Tale of Monkey Road in Athens, Texas Where Sinister Monkey Ghosts Inhabit the WoodsOnce upon a time, in the city of Athens, Texas, a circus was passing through when suddenly a wagon full of monkeys tipped over, causing the creatures to scatter into the woods. The story goes that some of these animals were caught by one Reverend Fuller, and he put them in a cage on his land. The story about the monkeys and Reverend Fuller was passed down for quite some time until the legend of the haunted Monkey Road took shape 30 years ago. Now, stories about monkey ghosts, secret tunnels, and secret experiments shroud the town of Athens. But of course, these were all just made-up stories.Rev. Fuller did not collect the monkeys. The monkey cage, in reality, was an aviary, home of exotic birds collected by his wife. The tunnels, on the other hand, were an "engineering impossibility."But what of the monkeys? They probably died a week after escaping the wagon.Nevertheless, the townspeople choose to believe in the legend, as it has become a "part of [their] town lore."Learn more about the Monkey Road legend over at WFAA.(Image Credit: jonleong64/ Pixabay)#Halloween #Spooky #Legend #MonkeyRoad #HorrorStory
