Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst, who’s having a girl, opened up their Halloween-themed sex reveal with friends and family with a virtual cameo from Halloween stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Myers.
Hardwick and Hearst wanted a sweet and intimate celebration for Lydia’s birthday but they missed getting together with friends so they figured that they could have an “Unbirthday Party” next month during the spooky season where they set up a screen outdoors with some cushy seats to watch the new Halloween film.
Initially, the gender reveal was going to be announced right before the film but when all was said and done the reveal ended up being the highlight of the party.
"All in all, it was an incredible night: catching up with friends we love — some of whom we hadn't seen in person in two years — sharing the news of our daughter in a way we'll always cherish, eating cake, and watching Halloween Kills under a beautifully crisp, starry-filled October sky,” says Hardwick.
