The Jurassic Park movie franchise began thirty years ago to ask the question, "Can dinosaurs and humans coexist?" That question has been answered six times already, but the people in that film universe do not listen. First we had the Jurassic Park trilogy, and then it started all over again in the Jurassic World trilogy. Now comes a seventh film, Jurassic World Dominion, which once again seeks to warn us about bringing back monstrous extinct predators, lest Universal Pictures make too much money. This movie marries the first and second trilogy by focusing on dinosaur whisperer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), while bringing back the wise ones, Alan Grant (Sam Neil), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) from the first trilogy.
As always, expect mayhem and death. In case you missed it, the opening scene from Jurassic World Dominion was released last year, which is well worth watching even if it doesn't tell us anything about what happens in the movie.
