Dream, the YouTube Star, Reveals His Identity to FansOn February 9, 2014, a 14-year-old kid created a YouTube channel dedicated to Minecraft content. The kid, simply known as Dream, received a few thousand subscribers and views in his first years on YouTube. Suddenly, he stopped uploading. It wasn't until the game's resurgence in 2019 that Dream began uploading again. This time, he did not only gain thousands of subscribers and views; he gained millions. However, not much is known about him. While people heard his voice, no one knew his face, as he always hid it inside a smiley-face mask. Years after his rise to YouTube stardom, Dream, now 23, decided to show his face to the world. "Hi! My name is Clay, otherwise known as Dream online," he says as he finally removes the mask that always concealed his face. But why did he reveal his face now? Dream says he did this as he was meeting George (a fellow Minecraft YouTuber) for the first time after chatting with him for years. He also says he plans on living a more public life, meeting with other content creators. Even with his face revealed, Dream says he does not plan on adding a face cam in his Minecraft videos. He will, however, make more in-real-life (IRL) videos with his friends, who will live with him. (Image Credit: Dream/ YouTube) #Minecraft #Gaming #VideoGames
Fan Created a Donkey Kong Shelf using an Ikea Lustigt Wall ShelfMany people see the IKEA Lustigt shelves as only an ordinary shelf where you can put your toy collection. But seeing the asymmetrical levels of the IKEA product, Japanese Twitter user @miki800 saw the shelf's similarity to the game levels on the classic Donkey Kong game. And so, using some paint, some brushes, and an 8-bit Donkey Kong and Mario, @miki800 made it look like the old video game.Cool!(All Images: miki800)#Retro #DonkeyKong #Nintendo #VideoGames
The Latest Twitter Phenomenon: Frasier Looking At Video GamesFrasier Crane is a fictional character in the sitcom Cheers, and later the protagonist in the spin-off series Frasier. Oftentimes, when he is stressed, Frasier would look outside the windows of his apartment, which has a beautiful view of Seattle. When Bobby McGill saw a still image of the fictional character on Twitter, he immediately bookmarked said image."Originally I was going to just have him looking at general non-games-related things, but when I started thinking about what he could look at that would be funny/entertaining, all I could think about was video games."And so he did just that. He made Frasier look at various video games, from Among Us to Stardew Valley. The Twitter account which McGill dedicated to posting these funny pictures of Frasier is only a few days old, but it already has over 19,000 followers. He thinks that this might be the next to the “Can You Pet The Dog?” phenomenon in the platform.Frasier now has many things to look at when he’s stressed.(All Images Credit: Bobby McGill via the Frasier_looking Twitter account)#Humor #VideoGames #Funny #Meme
