Realistic Sand Sculptures of Andoni BastarrikaIt would be surprising to see a bull taking a nap on the beach, would it not? Self-taught artist Andoni Bastarrika likes to startle (and amaze) people by creating three-dimensional artworks like realistic animal sculptures using wet sand. In comparison, ordinary sandcastles by the beach seemed too boring!
If Tim Burton Directed Spider-ManIndie artist Illproxy sculpted this Spider-man atop a chimney based on the artwork of cartoonistSkottie Young (as published in his now defunct DeviantArt page). The long-limbed Spidey looks like he'd fit right in alongside Jack Skellington in Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas!I love the fine details of Spider-man's web wings and the spider webs twisting around the chimney vent.See also: Illproxy's NeatoShop catalogImage: Illproxy/imgur#Spiderman #web #SkottieYoung #Illproxy #sculpture #fanart
