How to Make Wolverine Claws out of SteelYouTube maker Koss Workshop shows us the step-by-step process of building Wolverine claws with basic tools, as well as cutting, milling and grinding equipment.First, Koss traced the shape of the wolverine claws on a piece of scrap plywood and cut them with a bandsaw. This allowed him to check the fit before he proceeded to cut the pieces out of 1066 high carbon alloy steel, then grind and sand them to make them into blades. Koss then subjected the pieces to heat treatment to improve their hardness. The handle was cut out of a single block of duralumin, a strong yet lightweight alloy of aluminum and the pieces were put together with nuts and bolts. As with his other pieces, Koss sold the one-of-a-kind steel Wolverine claws at his Etsy store.#Wolverine #claw #KossWorkshop #weapon #XMen
Koss Workshop Combined a Samurai Sword with a Chainsaw to Forge This Titanium Chainsaw KatanaHave you ever imagined a weapon that combined the features of a katana and a chainsaw? Well, Koss Workshop did! The artisan created a titanium chainsaw katana from two titanium plates, and added a chainsaw on the sword’s edge. The resulting weapon, called Tsuba, has a white handle made from duralumin. In addition, Koss Workshop employed the use of brass spacers and brass pads to fully create the katana. Unfortunately, the chainsaw edges of the sword do not move, but it definitely looks deadly.
