Funny or Die and Tango are collaborating to produce a new movie called Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Eric Appel is director and executive producer, and he co-wrote the script with "Weird Al" Yankovic himself. Yankovic told Appel his life story, and Appel didn't believe a word of it, but agreed that it would make a good movie. So how much of the movie is fiction and how much is fact? It doesn't really matter, we know it's going to be funny anyway. But the big question is who will play Yankovic. Daniel Radcliffe is slated to play a younger version of Yankovic. Considering some of the weird roles Radcliffe has taken on since his Harry Potter days, we think he will be perfect as "Weird Al."
