Recently, they turned out a new minifig in the image of Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which sold like wildfire. They also produced LEGO-size Molotov cocktails, the homemade incendiary bottle bombs that Ukrainian citizens are using.
Citizen Brick is doing this to raise money for Ukrainian medical charities through Direct Relief. The Zelenskyy minifig sold for $100, and the bombs went for $10 each. They sold out in no time, and made another production run because the demand was so high. Then they sold out again! Citizen Brick raised $145,000 for Ukrainian medical help in just two weeks. And some people will now have a minifig ready for any Ukrainian construction they may want to build. Who knows, maybe they'll do it again.
