After actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars - an event that's now informally known as "The Slap" - a lot of people wanted to vent their anger. Some went to Twitter to find Smith and reprimand him.

"bro why'd you slap Chris rock," wrote @SnappySnoot.
"My 3 kids are crying bc of your actions tonight. Me and the wife had to explain to the kids the trauma they just witnessed at such young ages. Shame on you, William. Youre supposed to be a role model. My wife will probably leave me bc our family will never recover from this," tweeted @ItxTeddyx3
"Thanks, I was watching that with my friends and entire family. I threw my remote at my tv so my 5 year old daughter wouldn't see your violent behavior. My 70 inch tv fell and shattered and ruined my Oscar party. No everyone is crying and screaming and my wife left with the kids," tweeted @Ravenservative
Problem was, they didn't get Will Smith the actor. Instead, they got the Will Smith (@willsmith) who makes podcasts and video games or the Will Smith (@willcsmithjr) who is the Maryland State Senator.
Though they were the recipient of some unpleasant tweets, both Will Smiths seemed to have taken their newfound fame in stride.
