In the 1960s, there was an episode in the Spider-Man cartoon series in which Spidey confronts copies of himself. The three Spider-Men screen shot became an internet meme, one we've seen over and over for years now. The scene briefly made its way into the 2021 movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, starring Tom Holland. He meets up with alternate universe Spider-Men played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who played the superhero in earlier movies.
And now it's happened in the real world. Sony staged a reunion and photoshoot of the three actors who portrayed Spider-Man to promote the home video release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The iconic photo was released today.
