For years, Brian Kidd AKA the Unipiper has been making a name for himself by keeping Portland weird.
Now, Gigantic Brewing is partnering with Weird Portland United to launch a beer series celebrating the famous Unipiper. Beginning April 1, the Unipiper Hazy IPA will be available at the Gigantic Taproom.
It was made with hops grown in the Unipiper’s own backyard.
According to Gigantic Brewing Brewmaster, Ben Love, the collaboration is a celebration of Portland: being weird. It’s what makes the city great and what better ways than to partner it with another signature of the city, beer.
The next brew in the series will honor the Adult Soapbox Derby and will be available in August.
Proceeds from the beers will go to Weird Portland United.
