Why Natalie Portman Left Thor and Came BackThor: Love and Thunder is the fourth movie centered around the Norse god Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although the superhero character also appeared in other MCU films. Natalie Portman portrayed Thor's love interest Jane Foster in the first two Thor films, and then completely disappeared from Thor: Ragnarok. But Jane Foster/Natalie Portman is back in the latest Thor film, having become a superhero herself. What happened? The problem was the second film, Thor: The Dark World. Nerdstalgic explains the complicated story of how Natalie Portman lost interest in the working on the franchise and then came back again. So when you see Thor: Love and Thunder, you'll know the story the story from the back end while you learn it from the front end. -via Digg#Thor #MCU #NataliePortman #JaneFoster
Thor Gets Naked in New Love and Thunder TrailerThe new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder has dropped, and it give us plenty of details we didn't get in the teaser a couple of months ago. We get to witness the reunion of Thor and Jane Foster, now a superhero herself, and it's really sweet, in the vein of "tell me you still love me without telling me you still love me." We also are introduced to the movie's villain, Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. The trailer has some snarky comedy, as director Taika Waititi narrates Thor going from "dad bod to god bod." But then there's nudity. Zeus wants a better look at Thor, and "flicked" his clothing off. If you insist on watching that sequence a few times, you'll notice that Thor has a Loki tattoo on his back. The trailer has pixelated Thor's pelvis, but will the film? Since Marvel is famous for using clips in the trailer that never appear in the movie, your guess is as good as mine as to whether it will even be in the movie. It hasn't gotten a rating yet, so maybe they haven't even decided. Thor: Love and Thunder will be in theaters July 8.#trailer #Thor #ThorLoveandThunder
Thor: Love and Thunder Finally has a TrailerOur first taste of Thor: Love and Thunder is called a teaser trailer because it's only a minute and a half, which is long enough to make us want to see this film. Yeah, well, of course, we've been waiting for this movie for five years already (thanks, pandemic). Apparently, Thor's going through some kind of identity crisis and tries to reel it back just enough to let all his friends step into the spotlight. We can assume that we'll see plenty of Chris Hemsworth, along with Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Russell Crowe, and the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy. Gizmodo points out that Thor is now the only Marvel Studios character with four movies under their name. That's most likely because they wanted more of writer-director Taika Waititi, and who could blame them? Thor: Love and Thunder will play only in theaters starting on July 8.#Thor #ThorLoveandThunder #Marvel
