This is a drawing of&nbsp;<a href="https://christojeanneclaude.net/press/the-mastaba/">The Mastaba</a>, soon to be the largest permanent work of art in the world. It will be made from 410,000 multi-coloured barrels to form a mosaic echoing Islamic architecture that will stand in the desert of Liwa, UAE.The Mastaba&nbsp;was first conceived by artist duo <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christo_and_Jeanne-Claude" alt="Christo and Jeanne-Claude" class="on">Christo and Jeanne-Claude</a> (Christo Vladimirov Javacheff and Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon) in 1977. They were born on the same day in Bulgaria (Christo) and Morocco (Jeanne-Claude), and got married in Paris in the late 1950s.Check out some more drawings of&nbsp;The Mastaba&nbsp;below, accompanied by a photo of&nbsp;The London Mastaba, a temporary floating installation that was exhibited in 2018 on The Serpentine in London, UK.

After Jeanne-Claude passed away in 2009, Christo returned to the proposed site in 2017.
