A Deleted Scene from The Batman Reveals The JokerYeah, The Joker was supposed to be in the new film The Batman, but his contribution was cut out of the final edit. We still get to see him, thanks to Warner Bros. posting this deleted scene. It features Batman (Robert Pattinson) visiting Arkham Asylum to consult with The Joker on the enigmatic Riddler, in a scene that will remind you of Hannibal Lecter. Barry Keoghan plays The Joker. He first appears blurry and hard to hear, but becomes clearer and more terrifying as the scene goes on. Be warned that this Joker is heavily scarred and damaged. Keoghan's portrayal of The Joker isn't meant to set him up as a character in a future story, at least according to director Matt Reeves. But he'd be good in the role. -via Geeks Are Sexy #Batman #Joker #deletedscene #TheBatman
The World's #1 Smartest Multi-billionaire Superhero OrphanAustralian artist knivesxonly painted an ad on the wall at Newfarm Cinemas in Brisbaine, Australia. It's clever and references a comparison that's been going on for years, but you can imagine that neither DC nor the producers of The Batman would appreciate it much. However, it has drawn attention to the theater, and that was the purpose. While the post at reddit garnered thousand of upvotes, commenters were quick to 1. debate the definition of "orphan," since Tony Stark was an adult when his parents died, 2. castigate knivesxonly for his punctuation, and 3. parse what "second place runner up" means. This is the cost of going viral- no matter how much people like something you created, there will be plenty of them ready to pick it apart.#Batman #TheBatman #TonyStark
