When DC Films announced that Robert Pattinson would play Batman in the new film The Batman, we all said, "What? That skinny pale kid from the Twilight movies?" The Batman is a darker, grittier reboot of the franchise, which is what they said about Tim Burton's Batman in 1989. In this movie, Bruce Wayne is younger and angrier than we've seen before.
