It begins with Wakanda mourning the loss of T'Challa, of course, but swiftly moves on to the next challenge- the nation's new enemy. As we suspected, it's a previously unknown kingdom under the sea called Talocan, with its own superhero protector, Namor. T'Challa's mother, sister, girlfriend, and general have to pull themselves together to defend Wakanda. This will take a superhero, and at the end, we get a glimpse of the new Black Panther. It's a woman, but which of the several major characters it is remains to be seen. Queen Ramonda is stretched to her limit. A baby is born. A war is on. Someone wears the Black Panther suit. And every frame looks like a work of art. Director Ryan Coogler credited the late Chadwick Boseman for the love and effort the cast and crew put into this sequel. “I promise you, I feel his hand on me right now,” he said.
