Actor Matthew Perry died Saturday by drowning in a hot tub at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54 years old. It is not yet known if there were health issues involved in his drowning. Perry was best known as Chandler Bing in the series Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004. Perry, the youngest of the six main cast members, appeared in all 236 episodes.
TBS will air a tribute to Perry with a marathon called The Best of Chandler, airing November first through the fifth. It will feature episodes of Friends that highlighted the character Chandler, interspersed with interviews and tributes from those who knew him.
Nick at Nite will show Chandler-centric episodes of Friends every night at 10 PM through November 5.
Max (formerly HBO Max) has added a tribute card to the first episode of each season of Friends. All seasons are available on the streaming platform.
The remaining cast members of Friends, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, have released a statement about Perry's death.
