If you've never seen Titanic on the big screen, your chance is coming soon. Titanic was released on December 19, 1997, but is marking the 25th anniversary next month with a re-release of the movie in theaters on February 10th. Conveniently, that's Valentines Day weekend, which explains why the re-release didn't happen in December. The movie has been remastered in 4K high definition with a higher frame rate, and will be available in 3D. But what has the internet buzzing this weekend is the poster for the re-release.
What's up with Rose's hair? It appears she has two hairstyles in one picture. The side facing us has an updo with ringlets, while the other side is flowing free and long. But if you look closer, you'll realize that is the same picture that was used for the original 1997 poster, just used more prominently.
So that's a question that should have been asked 25 years ago. It's very possible the person who made the decision isn't even available to ask anymore.
