Three Men in Their 80's Have Developed a Lasting Friendship After Having Attended Every Super Bowl Game

Not many can define friendship better than attending every single Super Bowl since 1983, all with the same group of friends.

Don Crisman, Gregory Eaton and Tom Henschel, three men in their 80s, are all part of the exclusive Never Miss a Super Bowl Club. Like the name entails, these men have never missed a single Super Bowl game in the last 55 years. When the tradition first started, Crisman and Henschel had been at the 1983 Super Bowl with other members who have since aged and passed on. Eaton had attended with his own group of friends. In the mid-2010s, Eaton joined Crisman and Henschel.

This year, Eaton forked out an approximate $2,500 for his ticket—easily 400 times the cost of a 1967 Super Bowl ticket. It might also be one of his last. Crisman and Henschel were in agreement.

"I still think I have a few years left," said Henschel. "I’m going to try to make it to 60. But old man age is catching up to all of us."
