Okay, so Full Moon Features isn’t a big corporation like Universal or Disney, so it can’t afford terrifyingly realistic special effects created by world-class animators. So they take full ownership of their budgetary limitations and use them as the central plot point: the monster that hunts these college kids spending spring break at a lakeside cabin is a bad CGI alligator.
This is Bad CGI Gator, and it is wonderful. The trailer indicates that the writers have an explanation for why the monster is poorly rendered animation that has come to life hungry and angry. Let's see it feed!
