The Unbearable Weight of Selecting Nicolas Cage's Best Movies

Nicolas Cage was born on January 7, 1964. To celebrate the actor's 59th birthday, let's take a look at some of his greatest films. Now, it couldn't have been easy to select Cage's top films, since he's appeared in over a hundred of them! Do you prefer action movies, like Con Air, Face/Off, or National Treasure? Or maybe romantic films like Moonstruck or City of Angels? Or do you prefer comedies like Fast Times at Ridgemont High or Raising Arizona? Or even mind-bending meta-films like Adaptation or The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent? Of course, we're all looking forward to Renfield this spring, a horror comedy in which Cage plays Count Dracula. Cage has four other films coming out in the near future.

Gentlemen's Quarterly took on the task of selecting Cage's nine best movies, knowing that any such ranking would incite arguments to no end. Everyone has a favorite, and yours is probably not there. But if you haven't seen the ones they picked, you're in for a treat when you do. -via Fark ā€‹
