The knockoff of the Star Wars space villain Jabba the Hutt was a disgusting life-size lump of dripping pizza toppings. That's a lot of trouble for a simple pun, but it was well worth it. Or was it?
Pizza the Hutt only appeared in one Spaceballs scene, but it took a team of special effects guys and puppeteers, two actors, and a celebrity voiceover to make it happen. The suit was simple, but once it was on, there were more pizza toppings added. Real food, but not the kind you'd want to eat.
