HouseholdQuotes, a British firm that helps homeowners connect with repair tradesmen, commissioned artists to reimagine the Simpsons’ home at 742 Evergreen Terrance in Springfield. Appropriately, the artists recreated the image of the home to resemble eight different traditional British architectural styles. The Art Deco, of course, looks snazzy. It is a bit more luxurious than a nuclear safety technician would be able to afford, but this was the Roaring Twenties, so let’s assume that Homer was overleveraged in the stock market by buying on margin.
I’d like to see some older styles, too, such as Romano-British, Norman, and English Gothic.
