For over 25 years, Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia brought a gigantic talking Christmas tree named Woody out of their storage. Kids who encountered him would either be "delighted or frightened." Unfortunately, the Mall retired Woody in 2007, due to "safety concerns" and "extensive repairs." But on November 19, 2021, a familiar sight was seen by kids and adults alike who went to the mall; Woody has resurrected.
Tamitha Oakley, Mic Mac Mall general manager, stated that Woody spent his retirement years in the North Pole helping Santa and his elves "sustain the magical forest [there]." But Woody had to return "because it's been a really tough couple of years" for everyone.
Woody seemed to have regained some of his youth during his retirement, as you can see that his face has brightened up a bit. He was probably suffering from burnout and needed that 15-year rest.
