In the Pixar animated film series Cars, Sally Carrera is a blue 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera who became Radiator Springs’ attorney and the one most determined to put the town back on the map. She is strong, determined to help and beautiful to boot.
Now, on the 20th anniversary of Sally Carrera, Porsche in collaboration with Pixar, is about to put Sally back on the road… as a real car. And it’s not just a vanity project. The special-edition Sally Carrera-inspired Porsche 911 vehicle will be the one and only in the world and it will be up for an auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to support young girls' education through Girls Inc. as well as Ukrainian refugee families.
This project is conceived by a small team from Pixar Animation Studios led by Cars Production Designer, Bob Pauley, and Creative Director, Jay Ward, Style Porsche in Weissach and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Stuttgart.
