Nosferatu was a 1922 silent film that blatantly ripped off the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, and went through some legal problems because of it. Werner Herzog remake the movie in 1979, this time with dialogue, but not a lot of it. Now the 21st century Nosferatu has an official trailer. The movie is directed by and stars Bill Skarsgård as the vampire Count Orlok. Other cast members include Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe. The teaser trailer only shows the barest outline of Skarsgård's character, but it's enough to terrify. Will we see Nosferatu during the Halloween season? No, it is slated to be released on December 25th. What a merry Christmas that will make!
