Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City are, of course, popular interstellar tourist/invader destinations. But the American Southwest and, oddly, Ohio are also popular landing sites. Howard the Duck takes place in Cleveland, The Watch in Glenview, Super 8 in Lillian, and The Faculty in Herrington. Perhaps Ohio is the everywhere to American audiences.
