Insight Editions has launched a new Harry Potter themed deck of cards and guide book to help fans achieve a higher state of focus and mindfulness. Now one can let the wizarding world be their guide as they try to achieve clarity and awareness in the muggle world.
Each set includes 64 double-sided inspirational cards beautifully printed on a nice thick cardstock. The cards are broken down into 8 main themes: Flights of Fancy, Identity, Personal Growth, Values & Beliefs, Relationships, Experiencing Loss, and Battling Our Fear. Additionally, there are 8 cards per theme.
The front of each card features a simple, yet elegant, illustration reminiscent of the Harry Potter films. The identity card depicts a sorting hat, as the sorting hat was responsible for proclaiming which house a Hogwarts student would be placed in. The house in which a student resides being intrinsically attached to how they identify themselves and are perceived by others.
The back of the card has a prompt. These are questions many Harry Potter fans may or may have not already asked themselves. Unlike an online Hogwarts house identity test, the above card asks a person to truthfully consider their own placement. If one thinks deeply for a moment where would they place themselves.
Along with the 64 cards, the set also includes a little booklet. The booklet has lovely illustrations and interesting movie trivia. In the brief introduction the booklet encourages the user to harness the themes of Harry Potter to guide them. The creators hope that the cards inspire people to have courage, expel their fears, and always find that magical light to lead them through their darkest hours.
