Han Solo Frozen in Carbonite Dough

Appropriately, it’s called “Pan Solo” because “pan” is the Spanish and Japanese word for bread.

Hanalee and Catherine Pervan, a mother and daughter duo, own the One House Bakery in Benicia, California. The Associated Press reports that, for several weeks, after they closed the bakery each night, they worked on this magnificent project. It’s made of two types of yeast-free dough and mounted on a wooden frame.

The Pervans will enter it in the Downtown Benicia Main Street Scarecrow Contest. It’s quite scary, given that it freezes in time that horrible moment when Han Solo was locked mid-scream into a block of carbonite at the end of The Empire Strikes Back.
