Pop-up cafes that offer foods inspired by particular anime and manga series are a thing in Japan. Devoted fans flock to them and I can understand why: it could be fun to eat foods featured in one’s favorite series.
But Chainsaw Man, though an excellent story well told in the anime is . . . an interesting choice. If you haven’t seen it, then the title alone could give you a clue about the content: it’s filled with violence and gore.
Oh, Pochita, the cute little chainsaw demon embedded in the main character’s chest, is cute enough. He looks like an adorable dessert.
But you can probably predict that the menu will include blood and viscera, too. Dig in!
