Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham

The Caped Crusader meets Lovecraftian horror in the new animated film Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham. The direct-to-video film is based on a three-comic series published in 2000. This is an alternate universe Batman, set in the 1920s. Batman, or Bruce Wayne, accidentally unearths ancient supernatural horrors threatening Gotham City. Even the title was inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's story "The Doom That Came to Sarnath." Batman must battle multiple entities with powers beyond his mortal abilities. The story also features appearance by Green Arrow, Ra’s al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Two-Face, James Gordon, all in a Roaring Twenties style.
