Accidental Renaissance Pictures

The power of photography is insane. There are tools available to enhance images, such as making them appear older or have better colors than the original. However, what makes the image stand out is the composition of the shot. This may be influenced by the placements of the subjects. For example, it can be a fancy water park that can look like a scene from a painting. Or, it could just be two peacocks fighting. Yeah.

There’s actually a portion of the Internet where people gather and share images that resemble works of art. Called the Accidental Renaissance subreddit, this virtual gallery of sorts celebrates the unexpected beauty found in everyday life. It can be photos of scenery or location in a school, park, or city. In some cases, it can also be photos of people living their daily lives.

Additionally, the images in the subreddit also unintentionally resemble artworks from the actual Renaissance period, a cultural movement that took place in Europe from the 14th to the 17th century. It is usually known as the period where great artistic growth took place, with the emergence of da Vinci and Michelangelo.

From a picture of the nightlife in Australia to the lush greenery of the forests during the summer to two peacocks fighting (still an incredible shot), check out some of the photos below and here on the actual subreddit!
